The Fall harvest is the last of what summer has to offer and it is also a time to store up for the winter. In this class Chef Jacob and Chef Jamal are going to talk about pickling, preserving, and creating less waste of foods going bad. We will be visiting local farms and preservationists and asking them a question of. What is in season to preserve and how do they get the most of the fall vegetables? We will learn some knife skills as always, so make sure you break out the sharp ones. The best part of our classes is everything is made by hands, no fancy tools are required. These classes are great for the family!Â
